So I have been very busy lately and now that I am working at an office for a couple of weeks, I have the time to fill you guys in. As I'm sure many of you know, the barn at my former place of employment/volenteerism burned down about a year ago. After all the drama of this there was some rumor of the park shutting down the trail riding section of the park. After talking with the park administrators, my business partner and I found out that there may be some truth to this rumor so we put our hats into the ring and decided to persue the possibility of taking over the horseback riding operation. After a multitude of meetings and an open public bid, my friend Henry and I are the proud owner/operator/concessionaires of the horseback riding section of Tannehill Ironworks Historical State Park. Our lease begins on January 1st and with the expansive growth happening in that area we are hoping that we can make it into a thriving equestrian facility and a successful business. This is why I have been so terribly hard to get in touch with for the past couple of months. Life has been hectic to say the least. I'd like to say that it'll calm down once we get moved in and running, but I have a feeling that it's only going to get harder for a few months at least. It's defintaely worth it though. This means that for every event we hold and every promotion we participate in I am going to be posting everywhere I can find and I hope you will all come whenever you can If I actually get any time, I'll post as things progress.
